Dr Shrikanth Upadya, Fellow of American College of Cardiology is a Board Certified Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist practising in Central Florida since 2006. He has been consistently awarded the Castle Connoly Top Doctor for Interventional cardiology over several years now and is one of the few doctors with the award locally. Dr Shrikanth Upadya is a leading Expert in performing Complex Coronary and Peripheral Interventions. Over the years many of his patients have benefitted from his expertise of saving limbs. Dr. Vishnu P. Yelamanchi

Dr. Yelamanchi became a part of the central Florida community in early 2000. He is a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist, specializing in non-invasive and interventional management of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at The Villages Regional Hospital and Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Dr. Yelamanchi is a member of the American College of Cardiology, and the Central Florida Health Alliance.

Dr. Basel Al Aloul

After graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons In Ireland, Dr. Aloul completed his Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. During that time he was appointed as a Chief Medicine resident at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Aloul is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Aloul joined Cardiac and Vascular Consultants in 2014 after practicing at UPMC outreach hospitals. Dr. Aloul is highly committed to deliver high-quality patient care. Dr. Aloul’s clinical interests include critical care cardiology, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization including percutaneous coronary stenting, rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT) and coronary physiology study using fractional flow reserve (FFR). Dr. Aloul’s research interests include clinical outcomes in coronary artery disease

Dr. Hassan Baydoun

Dr. Hassan Baydoun earned his Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University in Beirut and subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. He then completed fellowships in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Baydoun joined Cardiac and Vascular Consultants in August 2018 as an Interventional Cardiologist. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is extremely committed to treating patients with high-quality patient care and professionalism. His clinical background includes general cardiology and both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. This is in both critical care and other high risk patients including percutaneous stenting of simple and complex coronary blockages, coronary imaging (IVUS and OCT), coronary physiology (FFR/iFR), rotational atherectomy, valvuloplasty, and percutaneous closure of interatrial defects including patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects. He also has a special interest in peripheral arterial disease including diagnostic and peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Baydoun served as a reviewer for multiple medical journals and has contributed to numerous medical manuscripts throughout his career.

Dr. Tuncay Taskesen

Dr. Tuncay Taskesen graduated from Ege University Medical School in Turkey in 2002. He completed Cardiovascular fellowship training at Dicle University Medical Center in Turkey and soon after became a practicing general cardiologist. After moving to Seattle, WA in 2012, Dr. Taskesen was accepted into the adult internal medicine residency program at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. Following graduation in 2018, he joined the University of Iowa Hospitals as a cardiac hospitalist. He started cardiovascular disease fellowship at Iowa Heart/Mercy One in Des Moines, IA. After his graduation in 2022, he joined West Virginia University for two years advance training on interventional cardiology and adult structural cardiology fellowship program. He completed his training and graduated at July, 2024. His extensive clinical and advance procedural skills provide him both critical and high risk patients care including percutaneous stenting of simple and complex coronary disease, coronary imaging (IVUS and OCT), coronary physiology (FFR/iFR), Rotational atherectomy. He is fully trained structural cardiologist. He is highly skilled on transcatheter valvuloplasty, valve replacement, valve repair, left atrial appendage closure, and closure of interatrial defects including patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects. Dr Taskesen has has been very active on medical research. He has published so many research article on well-known national and international prestige medical journals. His research and clinical interest is on coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, arrythmia, and peripheral vascular disease.
